Common questions
The app can't find my location
Toilet Panic needs location access to find nearby toilets. Check that location permissions are enabled:
- Open the iOS Settings app
- Scroll to Toilet Panic
- Tap Location
- Set to While Using the App
Also make sure your device has Location Services on overall: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they're cancelled in your Apple ID settings — not in the app:
- Open the iOS Settings app
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Tap Toilet Panic and choose Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you'll keep premium features until then.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled directly by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Toilet Panic charge, and choose "Request a Refund". Apple typically responds within a few days.
A toilet I tapped on wasn't actually there
Sorry about that — toilet location data comes from public sources and can sometimes be wrong, out of date, or behind a locked door. Email us at hello@shabu.co with the toilet's name and rough location and we'll look into it.
The app crashed
Crash reports are sent automatically (anonymously, no personal data) so we usually see crashes the moment they happen. If you'd like to give us more context — what you were doing when it crashed — that's incredibly helpful. Email us at hello@shabu.co.

If you've found a bug, please include in your email:
- What happened
- What you expected to happen
- iOS version and iPhone model
- App version (visible in iOS Settings → Toilet Panic, or in the app's settings screen)
- A screenshot if possible
